Which skateboard to choose: complete, street or surfskate?
To get started, go for a complete skateboard: deck, trucks, wheels and bearings are already mounted and set up, you ride straight out of the box. The rest depends on how you ride. For street skating and your first tricks, head for street skateboard between 7.5″ and 8″: the narrower the deck, the more maneuverable; the wider, the more stable. For sensations close to surfing — carving, curves, pumping — it's the surfskate with its pivoting front truck.
